Actually prepostions do not have any certain grammatical rule to be followed so that you can learn and have a good command in them .Moreover, we as Arab learners face alot of problems in using them so you find most of us misuse them when we talk or write and this makes communication less efficient .

I think the only helpful and fruitful way to be able to use them correctly and effectively is to practice them and the more u practice the more u will improve in using them.
